Registered Nurse – Team Leader, OR Service Line

Miami Valley Hospital – Operating Room (FT, 6:45a‑3:15p, 80h/hr)

• Provide overall coordination, direction, and strategic planning for the OR Service Line.
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical staff, and other stakeholders (medical, anesthesia, and surgery directors) to develop processes that meet instrument and inventory needs.
• Ensure safe and quality delivery of care to patients in the surgical environment.
• Establish systems and structures that support quality patient care.
• Report to the Nurse Manager of Surgery and work collaboratively with the Surgical Services Management Team, Nursing Administration, Anesthesia Providers, Surgeons, Hospital Administration, and PHP‑System Administration.

• Education:
  
  BSN required.
• Licensure:
  Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License.
• Membership: AORN.
• Certification:
  Current CPR certification (CNOR preferred).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years as circulating RN in the operating room; minimum 2 years in progressive leadership.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent leadership and decision‑making skills; effective communication and problem‑solving; proven clinical competence; ability to prioritize tasks continuously.
