TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

Working with Tele/drips-23 bed unit. Hospital:
Miami Valley Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center). Medical Surgical Orthopedic patients – most commonly taking care of patients with traumatic hip fractures, elective spine surgeries, and other traumatic orthopedic injuries. Most patients require pre/post-surgical orthopedic care, including heart monitors, drains, PCAs, and Ketamine drips. Also, provide care to any med surg patient/overflow.
Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
Floating and Other Requirements- Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.
- If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville)
- less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus.
- Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
