Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for IMC/PCU/Stepdown units. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care, monitor patient's condition, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and clinical conditions with accuracy.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and care planning.
• Float within hospital units as needed, supporting various patient care teams.
• Complete required orientation modules promptly, including charting and clinical assessments.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including IV start and dysrhythmia recognition.

Qualifications:

• Valid active RN license or compact license in state of employment.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant clinical experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown settings.
• Must have EPIC EMR experience and competency in EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Demonstrate ability to care for patients with stable chronic ventilators.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required; IV start experience preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday shifts.
