Job Description Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a Nurse Manager in our Inpatient Unit. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Key Responsibilities:

The Nurse Manager provides leadership in working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

The Nurse Manager maintains clinical skills and acts as both a clinical leader and resource nurse, as well as, administrative leader, assuming 24-hour responsibility for the unit.

This position will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing practice in an assigned department to ensure that safe and appropriate care is provided.

The Nurse Manager will collaborate actively with medical, administrative, and interdisciplinary leadership to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BSN)
Active RN license in state of practice5 years’ experience as a nurse3 years’ experience in a nursing leadership position

Critical care experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of pediatric experience1 year experience in clinical research

Burn and wound care experience

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
