Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting required License:
Active state LVN/LPN license or compact license required

Certifications:

BLS through AHA required Must-Have: IV certification or proof of education and competency in IV therapy skills required

Description:

Winter jobs are available for a 13-week contract. Must be able to work a minimum of every other holiday. Experience in a Med-Surg renal unit is required. Candidates with LTAC LPN experience will also be accepted. Must have experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6. Epic charting experience is required. Travelers will be required to float based on the needs of the facility.

Candidates may float to a different campus within close proximity. Travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives. All candidates must be comfortable floating to other units as necessary. Floating will be assigned based on staffing needs. Candidates will be working in a fast-paced, 21-bed unit. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diverse medical conditions.

Teamwork is emphasized within the unit.
