Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of NICU experience.

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Ohio or compact license required
• Current certifications: CPR and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required, 2+ years preferred
• Associate degree required, BSN preferred
• Pediatric experience required
• G-Tube and Trach experience preferred but not mandatory
• At least one recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required

• Work in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) of a pediatric hospital
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
• Weekend rotation required, typically every 3rd weekend
• Float to inpatient units when not needed in the NICU
• Skilled in various O2 delivery methods including N/C, high flow, CPAP, NIV, and ventilator care
• Central line, PICC, and umbilical line competency required
• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal ICU patients including central line, PICC, and umbilical line management
• Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or black scrub pants required
• Smoke-free facility and campus
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Travelers must wait at least 1 year before returning to the facility
