As a Veterinary Assistant, you will support doctors and technicians in delivering outstanding patient care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑energy environment, enjoys working closely with animals and people, and is eager to grow their skills in veterinary medicine.

• Collaborate with veterinarians and other teammates to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Provide hands‑on patient care in ER and ICU settings
• Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately
• Maintain clean and organized treatment and hospital areas
• Monitor patients and report changes in conditions to the medical team
• Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and emergency procedures
• Participate in maintaining hospital cleanliness and infection control standards

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of clinical experience required (preference for ER or specialty experience)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask while staying detail oriented in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
• Availability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays

• Second shift – exact schedule to be discussed during interview process
• Every other weekend required

• Competitive compensation – $18‑24/hour (commensurate with experience)
