We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Landscape Crew Leader to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of public and commercial properties throughout the Ohio growing season. This role is responsible for leading landscaping operations including mowing, trimming, mulching, property clean‑up, and seasonal snow removal. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work independently while effectively managing a crew, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Lead and supervise landscaping crews in daily operations
• Perform and oversee lawn mowing, grass/tree/shrub trimming, landscape bed maintenance, mulching, and trash removal
• Coordinate and execute landscaping and snow removal projects
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including gas/electric hand tools, riding mowers, trucks, plows, and equipment trailers
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and safely operated
• Manage and prioritize multiple work orders while adapting to weather conditions
• Order, coordinate pickup, and manage materials and equipment as needed
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards and customer satisfaction expectations
• Maintain a safe work environment for crew members and the public
• Assist with general property maintenance outside of peak growing and snow seasons

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role
• Knowledge of horticulture and various landscaping styles, materials, and techniques
• Experience with snow plowing and winter property maintenance
• General property maintenance experience
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Mechanical aptitude and experience operating landscaping equipment
• Solid understanding of landscaping practices and horticulture principles
• High safety awareness and commitment to best practices
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round
• Physically capable of performing manual labor and lifting as required
• Ability to work both daylight and nighttime hours when needed

Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4PM
Pay: $20-25/hr DOE
