The Quality Control Inspector III leads the inspection activities for materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards. This role involves advanced inspections, documentation, and process improvement recommendations. The inspector also mentors junior team members and works closely with other departments to address quality issues.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and perform advanced inspections of incoming parts, in-process production, and final products.
* Document and record detailed inspection results and provide thorough analysis and recommendations.
* Identify, document, and resolve complex structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
* Mentor and train junior inspectors.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and recommend improvements.
* Develop and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
* Conduct statistical analysis on inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Oversee calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
* Review and approve inspection documentation and reports.
* Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications You Must Have:
* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
* 3+ Years experience in Quality Control or related field.
* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
* Advanced proficiency in quality control principles and inspection techniques.
* Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings.
* Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
* Extensive experience with finished goods inspection.
* Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES.
* Understanding of material flow in operations.
* Ability to draft work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Certified in Network+, Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and/or A+.
* Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards. Qualifications We Prefer:
* Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
Essential Functions:
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
* Standing for extended periods during inspections.
* Dexterity to handle small parts and use inspection tools.
* Ability to work in a noisy environment.
* Occasional travel may be required. This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
