Position: H&M Sales Advisor- Dayton Mall

Job Description

As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers through the store, actively sell products, and support customers with product knowledge and garment care. You will help maintain a clean and organized sales floor and collaborate with team members to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

A Day in the Life

Typical daily responsibilities include:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support across the omni‑channel experience.
  • Engage in conversations with customers to deliver high‑quality service.
  • Guide customers through fashion trends, stories, and product offerings.
  • Effectively promote and sell products.
  • Promote the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives.
  • Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively.
  • Support commercial and operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
General Information – Fashion & Trend Awareness
  • Stay up‑to‑date with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
  • Share relevant information and product knowledge with customers.
Team & Development
  • Retain and share service, fashion, and operational knowledge with colleagues.
  • Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements.
  • Give and receive feedback to foster development.
  • Participate in onboarding, training, and development opportunities.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
  • Complete garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and care.
  • Operate fitting room and checkout areas following best practice.
  • Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house.
  • Support garment presentation and maintain attractive displays.
  • Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines.
  • Follow best practice for in‑store omni‑channel services and technology.
  • Support opening and closing of the store.
  • Adhere to H&S guidelines and legal requirements.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about fashion and providing an excellent in‑store experience.
  • Motivated to give customers a great experience.
  • Communicative, creative, curious, flexible, decisive, and action‑oriented.
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Has sales experience in retail or a related service industry.
  • Experience in customer service within fashion, retail, or similar sectors.

Job Status:
