Overview
An automotive parts manufacturing company in the Dayton, OH area is seeking Sales Account Representative to join their team! This role is focused on new business development. They are looking for someone who is out-going and team-oriented to reach out to new and potential clients. Travel is required occasionally. This is a direct-hire and full-time role.
Responsibilities- Contact and visit potential clients within assigned territory to establish and develop new business opportunities
- Research the latest industry trends and create new opportunities to expand business
- Manage and maintain existing customer relationships and act as a customer liaison to different company departments
- Interface with customers regarding product issues, questions, etc.
- Provide quotes and pricing for customers
- Assist with program and product development and planning for future sales activities
- Provide timely activity reports to management
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Must have prior Sales experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing
- Ability to travel once a week (nationwide/overnight)
- Ability to multi-task and manage complex projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
