We are searching for the best talent for Associate Account Executive located in the Columbus, Dayton, or Toledo, OH area.

Ethicon has made significant contributions to surgery for more than 60 years, developing sutures, staplers, energy devices, trocars, and hemostats. Our focus is on advancing surgical technology to treat serious medical conditions such as obesity and cancer worldwide.

The Ethicon Associate Account Executive will expand the sales of Ethicon U.S., LLC products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policy and sales direction. The role supports the area/region with all sales‑related activities and, upon successful completion, may be eligible to compete for the Account Executive position.

• Expand the sales of Ethicon U.S., LLC products and convert competitive products in a manner that complies with company policy and sales direction.
• Support the aligned area/region with all sales‑related activities, and, upon successful completion of duties, be eligible to compete for an Account Executive role.
• Be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting.
• Execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and that leads the customer to action.
• Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products.
• Manage customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology.
• Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in sales training courses.
• Provide case coverage and assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in the operating room.
• Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge.
• Conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0–2 years of business experience.
• The ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography as needed.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.

• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Established business planning and forecasting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in life sciences, medicine, or business.
• Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel.
• Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Excellence in process management and organizational agility.
• Documentation of successful sales performance.
• The ability to work in an operating room.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $55,000–$95,000. The position is eligible for participation in the company’s highly competitive sales incentive compensation program and for a company car through the fleet program.
