Overview
Lexis Nexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Solutions Consultant for the Corporate Legal market. The role focuses on delivering consultative services, training, and sales support to legal professionals and driving revenue within the assigned territory. It is a hybrid position that requires presence at the Dayton, OH office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Responsibilities- Provide consultative services and proactive outreach to legal research customers to maximize use of Lexis Nexis products.
- Communicate with customers to understand challenges, provide guidance, education, and consultation for improvement.
- Reach out to customers via phone and email to uncover training and product needs.
- Deliver specialized customer presentations and trainings, highlighting value propositions and competitive differentiators.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop strategic account plans and grow preference for Lexis Nexis solutions.
- Partner with Sales to offer product demonstrations to prospective and current customers.
- Identify and share upsell leads and opportunities with sales partners.
- Serve as an internal resource for Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Utilize required processes, tools, and systems effectively.
- Juris Doctor degree or comparable experience in a paralegal or compliance role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and trainings in virtual settings, including on-camera participation.
- Proven sales and/or training experience.
- Legal research experience or expertise using Lexis Nexis tools.
- Strong collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to build solid internal and external relationships, self‑motivation, and manage a territory independently.
- Willingness to work from the Dayton, OH headquarters on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- License to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.
- Proficiency with Business Management Systems (Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft Suite, etc.).
- Highly organized with proven success balancing competing demands.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for technology adoption, including AI.
- Familiarity with technology use in the legal profession.
- Experience in corporate legal and/or compliance departments.
