What You’ll Be Doing

As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will grow your career within one of our retail stores and focus on unlocking your full potential and sales success.

• Generate retail sales by leveraging your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales by using stellar communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

Compensation includes a base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour and up to $18,000 in annual commissions if sales goals are met. Top performers can earn additional commissions, resulting in total potential earnings of $65,000+ to $75,500+ annually, depending on geography and performance.

This commission‑based position offers the potential to earn more. Base pay starts at $16.59 per hour and varies by location.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a four‑week advance schedule.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November to December, or peak vacation periods.

Preferred experience:

• Experience working in a commission‑based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.
