Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 based on experience
The New Business Development Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling service agreements for commercial building systems. They will determine customer needs using Air Force One’s Total Cost of Ownership model and develop sales strategies to meet those objectives. The Representative will maintain an active proposal backlog that supports the sales plan while cultivating positive and ongoing relationships with customers.
Qualifications- One to three years of sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment that is verifiable.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. HVAC knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and background check.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade and close sales.
- Learn and apply Air Force One’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) selling process to attract and retain ideal AFO clients
- Data Centers, Office Buildings, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Government, Higher Education, K-12, Non‑Profits, Telecommunications, Logistics, Distribution, etc.
- Understand our sales process, having the emotional intelligence to navigate and close new business
- Prospecting, appointment setting, first call, building surveys, baseline discovery, proposal, internal/external startup meetings, ACE.
- Become an expert in the 8 cost centers as they apply to owning and operating a building
- Capital, Energy, Contracted Services, Repairs, Parts & Materials, In‑House Staff, Administration, Lost Productivity.
- Make necessary sales presentations to customers and management as requested.
- Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of Air Force One’s services offered.
- Partner with internal departments to communicate customer needs, including Water Treatment, BAS, Special Projects, Capital Planning, filtration, etc.
- Attract new customers through outside sales, phone sales, direct marketing efforts, networking associations, social media platforms, chambers, and other channels.
- Sell new PM agreements and renew annually working with Client Relations on the renewal.
- Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.
- Renew your book of business following the ACE process (six‑month check‑in and Annual Business Review).
- Maintain correct and complete records of all sales‑related activities, using the company’s CRM software.
- Submit all required sales reports, KPIs, expenses, and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.
- Position requires travel related to clients, training, or management meetings at other Air Force One offices.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Be able to place a 24‑foot ladder on the side of a building safely.
- Be able to carry 10 lbs. on your back while climbing up a ladder.
- Be able to kneel down and sit on the floor for 30 minutes.
- Be able to bend down and reach your ankles.
- Be comfortable working from heights.
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to use fine finger movements, read/comprehend, write, and reason and analyze. The associate is frequently required to walk, bend, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, handle objects, push/pull, reach above shoulder level, stand, carry and lift loads up to 20 pounds, perform calculations, and communicate orally. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be extreme at times when on job sites.
