Position Details
- Sales territory covers the Dayton, Ohio area.
- Compensation begins with a base salary and progressively transitions to full commissions.
- Base salary is dependent on experience.
- Commission plan includes uncapped commissions, a monthly bonus incentive, and annual bonus incentives.
- Recognition for achieving goals and awards such as monetary bonuses and top‑performer incentive trips.
- Bilingual speaking ability in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of related outside sales experience in new business development (hunter role, selling B2B to acquire new accounts).
- 2+ years of related culinary chef, restaurant operations, or restaurant management experience preferred. Either sales experience or industry experience is acceptable.
Responsible for developing independent account business, emphasizing overall profitability through both new sales and account penetration. Promote and sell company‑branded products to meet brand sales objectives while supporting customer service activities for regional and national chain customers, thereby increasing the company’s visibility and maximizing market share.
Job Responsibilities- Generate additional business by analyzing the sales territory and individual customers; sample products with existing and potential customers; plan general sales strategy, including time and territory management; and conduct effective sales presentations.
- Grow sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established sales and margin goals.
- Set up new customer accounts by determining pricing; work with the Credit Department for initial authorization and with other center personnel for scheduling order‑taking, deliveries, etc.; perform initial follow‑up to ensure delivery and product satisfaction.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exemplary service and coordinating with other center personnel to prevent and resolve customer problems; may be personally responsible for making deliveries in emergency situations.
- Build additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability of individual accounts.
- Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on any issues.
- Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly on market driven or commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 6-12 months of sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
