Position Overview

Radiance Technologies is an employee-owned company located in Dayton, Ohio. We are searching for a talented analyst to join our Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis (MS&A) team to support various missions in Dayton, OH. The analyst will collaborate with government stakeholders and Radiance teammates nationwide to support AFRL, NASIC, and other Intelligence Community (IC) missions. The ideal candidate will enhance analytical efforts centered around the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) M&S framework by tackling complex decision‑making challenges using scientific methods such as mathematical modeling and statistics.

The candidate’s efforts will directly impact the performance and effectiveness of military operations through deep analysis, simulation, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compose an analysis plan that includes what is being analyzed and how it will be analyzed.
  • Build a wide range of models within scenarios.
  • Perform verification on models and scenarios.
  • Develop and execute Designs of Experiment (DOE).
  • Analyze experiment output.
  • Generate presentations and reports.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance (minimum of SECRET collateral security clearance).
  • Minimum of 8 years of analytical experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Python.
  • Experience using analytical techniques such as descriptive statistics, correlation, analysis of variance, and optimization.
  • Experience in development and execution of DOE-based analysis plans.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • Experience using analytical techniques such as uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and meta‑model development.
  • Experience using simulation frameworks, especially Discrete Event Simulations.
  • Experience working with statistical software such as JMP and MATLAB.
  • Experience working with DOE software such as Dakota, PIANO, and HAL.
  • Experience working with MS&A tools such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE.
  • Familiarity with DoD security practices.
