Activity Security Representative II (ASR II)

Location: Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base, OH

• Must possess a current clearance as required by the Task Order
• Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information
• Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph

The Activity Security Representative II (ASR II) provides multi‑disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. This position supports day‑to‑day operations across Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) environments.

• Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence
• Maintain document accountability databases and associated records
• Process inbound and outbound classified mail, courier packages, and receipts
• Perform destruction of classified materials in accordance with procedures
• Process and maintain accountability of magnetic media
• Provide reproduction support for classified materials
• Maintain daily logs for administrative and document control functions
• Assist in processing inbound and outbound data transfer files
• Transfer electronic data files to internal customers
• Maintain customer database and points of contact listings
• Research, process, file, and maintain visit requests and visit notices
• Escort visitors and maintain associated visitor logs
• Assist in preparation and issuance of facility access badges
• Conduct entry and exit inspections
• Support access control systems and visitor control processes
• Perform data entry into Personnel Access Security System databases
• Maintain personnel security files and access records
• Enforce standard operating procedures and security protocols
• Support security education and awareness programs
• Provide administrative support to site leadership and senior security personnel
• Track and monitor security clearance processing actions with government personnel
• Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections
• Prepare and process Program Access Requests (PARs)
• Conduct DCII, JPAS/DISS, and SAPNP reviews for access eligibility
• Maintain access data within Air Force Access Data Systems (AFADS)
• Perform personnel indoctrinations and out‑processing

• 3 to 5 years of related security experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting SAP environments (required)

• Bachelor’s degree (desired) – counts as 4 years of experience
• Associate’s degree in a related field – counts as 2 years of experience

• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) – counts toward 1 year of experience
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) – counts toward 1 year of experience
• Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is limited to 3 years
• Note:
  
  Each separate SPED certification counts as one year, not to exceed the maximum

• Must complete DoD SAPCO‑approved SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP) training if performing personnel security functions
• Strong understanding of SAP, SCI, and collateral security procedures
• Experience with access control systems, classified material handling, and personnel security processes
