Armed Security Guard - Dayton, OH

Armed Security Guard needed in Dayton, OH. Must have OPOTA Certification. Must have a valid Driver's License. Salary: $20 an hour (not negotiable). Schedule/Shift: Mon - Fri (8 am - 4 pm). Personal Firearm required (9mm, .45 caliber) (must be semi-auto). Must have at least 2 years of Armed Security experience.

Location:

Loves Travel Center - 2217 S Edwin C Moses Blvd. Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift.

• 21+ years of age for Armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience (for Armed roles)
• Background investigation subject to all federal, state, and local laws
• Drug screen as permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions

• The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling various locations.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
