Security Officer – Armed Access Operations – Part Time, Dayton, OH

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help manage authorized entry, visitor processing, and/or credential checks in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow‑up.
• Support staff, visitors, and/or contractors with directions, screening requirements, and general assistance while helping to maintain orderly access throughout the location.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
