MTSI is seeking a skilled and proactive Security Professional to support all aspects of industrial security. This role will involve overseeing corporate security initiatives, including (but not limited to) Information Security (INFOSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Industrial Security (INDUSEC), and Personnel Security (PERSEC), while also ensuring the protection of technology within our capability development portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and a "get to yes" mindset, enabling them to navigate complex security challenges while driving solutions.
Success in this position requires the ability to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop comprehensive strategies to protect both corporate and technological assets, all while maintaining a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
Work location is in Dayton, OH.
Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate security guidance and procedures with internal and industry partners.
- Draft and collaborate on security documents to execute security requirements.
- Perform administrative security tasks.
- Assist in GSSO assigned teaks.
- Prepare, process, and/or review Program Access Request (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility.
- Perform data entry and record checks in Joint Access Database (JADE) and maintain all customer sponsored personnel access information current.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), Activity Security Representative (ASR), Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Program Security Representative (PSR), Facility Security Officer (FSO) or industry equivalents.
- Experience working in SAP-F or SCIF facilities/programs.
- Must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training (if performing personnel security functions).
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
- Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the DoD 5205.7 Vol 1-4, & ICD 705.1 and other guiding policy documents.
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
- Possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within various facilities CONUS.
Bachelor's degree. Years of experience may be substituted for education.
Clearance Requirements- Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI with in-scope SSBI and SAP eligibility.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Starting PTO accrual of 20 days PTO/year + 10 holidays/year.
