Security Officer

Security Officer - $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Location: 5/3rd Center, One South Main Street, Dayton, Ohio

Working Hours: Part‑time, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday; must be flexible for additional shift coverage on other days.

R+L Carriers seeks Security Officers for our Dayton, OH Service Center. Candidates must successfully complete the selection process. We are looking for reliable, professional officers who are dependable, communicate effectively, and take pride in their work.

• Providing protection for the terminal’s security interests and property from theft, fires, sabotage, vandalism, illegal entry, and other acts that may adversely impact the company.
• Other duties as assigned by management staff.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends if needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk or patrol the assigned facility for the majority of the shift.
• Verifiable ten‑year work history.
• Prior military, police, or security guard experience is preferred.
• Willingness to submit to a criminal history check and pass a drug screen.
