  • Hours:

    Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What Will I Be Doing?
  • Work in a team‑oriented and safety‑conscious environment. Safety expectations include PJHA process, Observation process, and all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heating/air conditioning and/or refrigeration systems. Task completion ranges from direct supervision to independent work, depending on assignment and employee development.
  • Work without supervision.
  • Install equipment; repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance; perform refrigeration repairs; and conduct other mechanical work as assigned.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance in conformance with established standards, assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards/work procedures, and provide work‑order feedback on discrepancies.
  • Have working knowledge of hand/power tools, HVAC & refrigeration tools, rigging, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc., using fall‑protection equipment as necessary.
  • Have flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the responsible supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Acheive performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
  • Communicate with all team members to assist the development of short and long‑range planning to assist the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Maintain personal tools required for your job, including an up‑to‑date documented personal tool list supplied as part of employment.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job (to be provided to you prior to employment).
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner (a more detailed listing of typical tasks will be supplied as part of employment).
  • Accurate and timely administrative duties, including but not limited to time accounting and work‑order completion.
What Makes Me Qualified?
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
  • EPA Certificate – Universal Technician.
Physical Demands of the Role
  • Ability to observe details at close range.
  • Control precision – quickly and repeatedly adjust controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions.
  • Manual dexterity – quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) required.
  • Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
  • Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
  • Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
  • Communication/Expression – ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Information ordering – ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration, occasional exposure to extreme heat and cold, wet and/or humid conditions, and usually very loud noise.
