Under general supervision, performs diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. Communicates with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customers. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.

Pay:
Hourly Rate plus incentives
- Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
- Diagnose and perform services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
- Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent premature breakdowns or callbacks.
- Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed or required.
- Deliver and remove parts and equipment necessary for service work.
- Use hand‑held device to record all required information on customer calls.
- Complete all forms and paperwork neatly, timely, and accurately.
- Collect payment from customers.
- Communicate with dispatch during duty to provide accurate status reports and availability.
- Ensure excellent customer service and sustain high levels of satisfaction.
- Promote products and services to customers and call the Sales and Service Coordinator with replacement product sales leads.
- Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are used, maintained, and properly accounted for.
- Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters.
- Follow standard procedures and processes, keep the vehicle stocked, return defective warranty parts, and replenish vehicle stock as needed.
- Perform similar or other duties as needed or assigned.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2+ years of HVAC experience, plus technical training certification.
- Valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, or local laws.
- EPA and safety certifications required.
- Skilled at servicing heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and related accessories.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate all necessary tools.
- Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems.
- Proficient in startup, airflow balancing, belt and pulley alignment.
- Able to install basic duct fittings.
- Proficient at troubleshooting and repairing electronic air cleaners, refrigeration systems, hot water systems, steam boiler systems, humidifiers, and related equipment.
- Effective communication skills for customer interactions.
- Effective time‑management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Available for flexible hours and on‑call shifts.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces, and maneuver around HVAC units.
- Physical ability to perform tasks in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, etc.).
- Ability to safely climb 300lb-rated ladders with a 30lb tool belt.
- Normal vision for close and far focus with depth perception.
- Ability to lift up to 75lb and carry up to 50lb.

Annual Compensation Range: $52,200.00 - $66,500.00
