** Maintenance Technician – JLL
**** What this job involves:
** As a Maintenance Technician in a healthcare facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems and equipment. Your work directly supports JLL's commitment to creating exceptional environments for our clients and their occupants. You will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to service requests, and maintaining a safe, professional workspace.

** What your day-to-day will look like:
*** Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, plumbing systems, and building components with a professional and safe approach
* Execute preventive maintenance tasks using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage timely completion of all assignments
* Conduct facility rounds and proactively identify conditions impacting client occupancy and operations; enter work orders for resolution
* Repair, replace, and install ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, doors, floor tiles, and perform minor plumbing work including unclogging drains and fixing leaks
* Complete special tasks including painting, pressure washing, client service requests, and general maintenance as assigned
* Escort vendors onsite for routine preventative maintenance or repairs, and maintain up-to-date system documentation for all repairs or changes
* Provide best-in-class customer service to all tenants and agencies while maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Required Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or state equivalent
* 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, with general plumbing experience
* Valid Driver's License (must maintain throughout employment)
* Two years of related trade schooling or equivalent
* Effective use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel), CMMS, and other internet-based software
* Ability to lift, carry, and push equipment, supplies, and job-related items weighing 50 pounds or more
* Ability to work on roofs of buildings and in all weather conditions
* Position requires sitting, standing, walking on level and slippery surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping, and making repetitive hand movements. Ability to be in an on-call rotation and willing to support after-hours building-related activities as required. Subject to call rotation and required to work in all weather conditions.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Strong diagnostic skills to identify defects and efficiently install, repair, and maintain building equipment
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Self-starter with strong customer service orientation and timely follow-through
* Ability to use computers and smartphones with multiple email accounts
* Experience recognizing danger and safety hazards with ability to propose elimination methods
