Apartment Maintenance Technician

Year-Round Stable 40 Hour Work

Position:
Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician

Schedule:

8:30-5:30 PM Monday through Friday, On-call once every 5 weeks ($100 bonus for weeks on call and minimum 1.5 hours paid for call outs)

Compensation: $20-22 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750

Van Buren Village Apartments, 1956 Smithville Road South, Kettering, OH 45420

Website:

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turn units make ready between tenant occupancy
• Complete repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Perform exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge and experience in drywall, painting, and carpentry
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• EPA Universal Certification a plus
• CPO Certification a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
