The Maintenance Service Technician supports a 302‑unit community in Rochester, NY. The role partners closely with the onsite Service Manager to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards. It requires strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to excellent service.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and support day‑to‑day property upkeep
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards and applicable laws
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑maintained community environment
- Candidates with basic repair knowledge and prior apartment maintenance or related industry experience are encouraged to apply.
- Plumbing and HVAC experience are strongly preferred.
- Additional certifications are not required, but would be considered a plus.
- Base Pay: $19.00 –$22.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
- On‑Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on‑call phone

- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Paid rotating on‑call participation required (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
- Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed
- Schedule subject to change based on business needs
- Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge required
- Prior apartment maintenance or related industry experience preferred
- Plumbing and HVAC experience strongly preferred
- HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred, but not required
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a maintenance team
