BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician for a well-maintained residential community in Dayton, OH (45426). This opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional with hands-on experience who takes pride in delivering quality work and exceptional service to residents.

Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition and functionality of apartment homes and community facilities. The ideal candidate will have prior industry experience and a strong working knowledge of maintenance trades, with the ability to handle service requests efficiently and professionally.

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing systems, and basic electrical issues
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare units for new residents (make-readies/turnovers)
• Conduct preventative maintenance to preserve property quality
• Maintain clean and safe work environments, including common areas and grounds
• Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and management
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or property management industry experience required
• Hands-on experience with appliance repair, basic plumbing, and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
