The Big Tasks
As a Drain Technician, you will help homeowners resolve drain and sewer issues by providing professional drain cleaning services, diagnosing problems, and recommending the best solutions. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by combining technical skill, problem‑solving ability, and strong communication while working independently in the field and building trust with homeowners.
Key Sub Tasks
- Clear residential drain blockages using professional drain cleaning equipment
- Diagnose drain issues and identify likely causes and recommended solutions
- Operate drain machines safely, efficiently, and professionally on every job
- Communicate findings and next steps clearly with homeowners
- Identify opportunities for camera inspections and additional drain services when appropriate
- Present estimates and explain solutions with confidence and professionalism
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly maintained company equipment
- Follow all company safety standards, service procedures, and operational expectations
- Work independently in the field while coordinating effectively with dispatch and team members
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience and build trust with homeowners on every call
