• Title:
  
  Electric Line Technician – Trouble Truck (Electric Line Technician)
• Location:
  
  North Dayton Service Center
• Shift: 2nd shift, including weekends
• Qualifications:
  
  Minimum six years of experience as an Electric Line Technician or equivalent; valid CDL; ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical service problems; proficiency in using hand tools, climbing, operating equipment and vehicles; capability to recognize hazards and follow appropriate procedural safeguards; ability to work independently under the direction of the Electric Line Technician IV; meet required training hours and certifications.
• Responsibilities:
  Diagnose and remedy electric service problems of customers; conduct troubleshooting calls; perform and maintain equipment and material associated with work assignments; independently evaluate tasks with a high degree of complexity; coordinate and execute operations under varying and hazardous working conditions; keep safe electrical troubleshooting; apply standard procedures and best practices; maintain safety and operational awareness while working on customer’s premises;
  
  maintain confidentiality of information required by the job; ensure regular customer contact; support interdepartmental coordination.
• Work Requirements:
  Moderate to heavy physical exertion, extreme attention to hazardous conditions, capacity for sustained periods; strong mental and visual concentration; coordination and dexterity in hazardous environments; ability for independent judgement; process and follow rigorous safety procedures.
