Hotel Maintenance Engineer Fairfield Dayton Downtown

What You’ll Do- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and building systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas
- Assist with painting, carpentry, and general repairs as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work and supplies
- Partner with housekeeping and front desk teams to quickly resolve guest concerns
- Previous maintenance or engineering experience preferred
- Hotel maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and supplies when necessary
