Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chiller Plant Technician with 8 years of experience overhauling chillers to join our team in Dayton, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our chiller systems to ensure efficient operation and reliability. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on chiller systems and associated equipment.

Monitor system performance and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with chillers, cooling towers, and related components.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the facility’s HVAC systems.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks.

Assist in the installation of new chiller systems and upgrades as needed.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.

Proven experience as a Chiller Plant Technician or similar role.

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly chiller operations.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
