PositionMaintenance Technician
LocationThe Landing Apartments, Dayton, OH
Work ScheduleMonday - Friday 9am to 5pm, with an on-call rotation
Competitive Pay: $24-27 hourly (based on experience and qualifications), plus commissions, incentives, and bonus potential
Hiring Bonus: $500
Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in multi-family residential maintenance
- Experienced turnover technician – versed in all aspects of apartment turns and servicing
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, and grounds
- HVAC experience required
- Strong customer service skills with a cheerful outlook when assisting residents
- Ability to work independently while staying efficient and thorough
- Must have basic hand tools, valid driver’s license, reliable truck/van, and auto insurance
- Willing to complete a drug and background check if offered the position
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, locks/keys, and groundskeeping tasks
- Handle apartment turnovers, preparing homes for new residents
- Complete work orders quickly and with high-quality results
- Respond to emergencies as they arise or while on-call
