- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, and may direct other team members as needed.
- Install equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, conduct preventive maintenance, and perform other mechanical work as assigned.
- Operate hand, power, and HVAC/refrigeration tools; rigging; and preventive/predictive maintenance equipment.
- Work from elevated areas (ladders, platforms, scaffolding) with fall protection.
- Be flexible to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Achieve performance expectations set in performance appraisals, including development planning.
- Communicate with team members to support short‑ and long‑term planning.
- Maintain a personal tool list and keep it up to date.
- Meet physical requirements of the job, which will be provided prior to employment.
- Perform tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently; a detailed list of typical tasks will be supplied.
- Complete accurate and timely administrative duties such as time accounting and work order completion.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
- EPA Certificate – Universal Technician.
- Observe details at close range.
- Control precision: quickly and repeatedly adjust machine or vehicle controls.
- Manual dexterity: quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Move for extended periods of time.
- Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools.
- Operate hand and power tools effectively.
- Operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
- Wear a respirator when required.
- Communicate information and ideas clearly.
- Arrange actions in a specific order according to rules.
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, fumes, chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, extreme heat and cold, wet and humid conditions, and loud noise.

CompensationCompetitive pay ranging from $32.73 to $38.50, dependent on location, experience, and other factors.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage.
