What Will I Be Doing?

• Team‑oriented and safety‑conscious work, adhering to all company safety guidelines.
• Repair and preventive maintenance on heating, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration systems; may include installation tasks.
• Work independently without supervision and sometimes lead other team members.
• Use hand and power tools, HVAC and refrigeration tools, rigging equipment, and preventive/predictive maintenance tools.
• Perform tasks from elevated areas using fall protection, ladders, platforms, and scaffolding.
• Be flexible to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as needed.
• Execute any additional duties assigned by the responsible supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Meet performance expectations and participate in appraisals.
• Communicate with teammates to assist in short‑ and long‑range planning.
• Maintain a documented personal tool list and keep it up to date.
• Adhere to physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and moving in continuous periods.
• Complete accurate and timely administrative duties such as time accounting and work order completion.

What Makes Me Qualified?

• 5+ years of experience in industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
• EPA Universal Technician certificate.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Observe details at close range.
• Rapidly adjust machine or vehicle controls precisely.
• Exercise manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Move for extended or continuous periods.
• Ascend and descend stairs, ladders, steps, and platforms.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
• Operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
• Wear a respirator when required.
• Communicate information effectively to others.
• Arrange tasks or actions in logical order.

Work Environment

The work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, vibration, extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions, and loud noise.
