Installation Technician / Trainee – Part Time
Get Paid to Learn a Trade!
The Installation Technician / Trainee will work under a professional crew, assisting in all operations including installation of gutters and gutter guards, inventory management, customer service, and transportation/delivery. Comprehensive training will be provided; strong willingness to learn is a must. The position involves frequent compensated travel to and from job sites, potentially including out of state.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Assist in installing gutters and gutter guards onto homeowner's property
- Travel with crew to homeowner’s property in a timely manner
- Respond to installer or service requests for assistance on job sites
- Troubleshoot problem installations and communicate findings to crew
- Deliver missing parts, materials, or products to job sites to ensure first-time completion
- Make repairs or adjustments as needed
Communicate effectively with customers in a friendly and presentable manner - Take accurate measurements when necessary to support recovery and installation efforts
- Follow safety requirements by following strict precautions and reporting safety concerns
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Must be 18 years or older
- No experience required, some experience preferred
- Physically able and willing to climb ladders up to 4 stories (35-40 feet), while following installation and safety guidelines
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (required)
- Presentable, personable, friendly, and get along well with others
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Basic computer/technology skills
- Must be able to lift products, assist with service, and make repairs as needed

Job Type: Part-time - 20-35 hours per week
Pay: $15.50 to $16.50 per hour during training, with opportunity for significant pay advancement upon becoming a full-time installer
