Resident Automation Technician II​/III - Dayton, OH

They have an exciting opportunity for a Resident Automation Technician II/III to join their team and develop technical expertise while contributing to continuous improvement of site performance and reliability.

• Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible.
• Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned.
• Complete maintenance activities for the automated equipment on‑site, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton‑opening systems.
• Adhere to the highest quality standards, always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs; interface with the customer as needed to support operations.
• Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with the broader Lifetime Services team to track, document, and communicate issues and lessons learned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certificate in controls engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in industrial, warehousing/distribution, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Familiarity with HMI and/or SCADA systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings for diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Previous experience in electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of material‑handling conveyors, AS/RS, and shuttle systems preferred.
• Profibus and Profinet experience preferred.
