General Job Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and skilled HVAC Punch Out Technician to join our residential installation team. In this role, you will handle the final inspection, testing, and correction of HVAC systems after installation – ensuring every system operates efficiently, meets code and company standards, and is ready for customer handoff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform final inspections, testing, and adjustments on residential HVAC systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with code and company standards.
- Identify and correct any installation deficiencies, including ductwork adjustments, wiring, refrigerant charging, and system calibration.
- Complete all punch list items promptly and accurately to close out jobs.
- Collaborate with installation teams, office staff, and customers to ensure a seamless project completion.
- Maintain detailed records and complete digital or paper punch lists and quality control forms.
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized; maintain tools and company vehicle in excellent condition.

Minimum Years of Experience2‑4 years
Specific Qualifications- 2+ years of HVAC installation or service experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Graduate of an HVAC trade school or technical training program.
- Experience using digital punch‑list tools, CRM systems, or field‑service software.
