Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Job Title
Inspect electrical systems (equipment, wiring, fixtures, components, etc.) identifying/addressing hazards/issues and ensuring functionality and Electrical code compliance
Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and address root cause of malfunctions
Test and validate proper operation of equipment after repairs
Utilize various test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, scanners, etc.)
Perform corrective, preventive maintenance & calibrations
Read & interpret blueprints/design schematics to comprehend the system design intent and to provide correct service and repairs
Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
Diagnose varying PLC/robotic/system faults
Maintain safe and clean working environment
Comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
All other duties as assigned by Supervision
Job Skill & Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
Ability to read & interpret blueprints/design schematics
Strong verbal and oral communication skills
Experience troubleshooting and repair of PLCs, scanners, cameras, motors, etc.
Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
PreferredExperience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
Relevant electrician certifications
Proven problem-solving & critical thinking skills
Familiar with Allen Bradley Micro Logix, Control Logix and SLC controllers & systems;
Familiar with Siemens controllers & systems
Ability to read & interpret PLC logic
