Position Overview

Developmental-level position focused on supporting facility operations through coordination, customer interaction and general site support activity. Requires strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of operational processes, equipment usage and service delivery within a public facing environment. Assists in promoting safe, efficient and organized facility operations by guiding customer activity, supporting site logistics and contributing to the overall appearance and functionality of buildings and grounds.

Knowledge of: 10 (safety practices), 11b (human relations); Skill in: 29 (equipment operation- shrink wrap machine, OCC compactor; materials movement; operation of auxiliary equipment including compactor, skid steer, bobcat, snowplow, and small front-end loader); Ability to: 30c (carry out detailed but basic written or oral instruction), 30g (understand system of mechanical or other procedures), 30h (apply principles to solve practical, everyday problems), 32b (recognize safety warnings);

32h (read simple sentences with common vocabulary), 32k (complete routine forms), 32q (understand manuals and verbal instructions, technical in nature), 34c (cooperate with co-workers on group projects), 34h (develop good rapport with others), 35a (demonstrate physical fitness), 35b (demonstrates agility to move whole body quickly and easily when bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, manipulating hands and fingers, etc.); 35c (demonstrate strength to lift up to 50 lbs.),

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Equivalent to tenth grade education and six (6) months of experience in general facility and large and small equipment knowledge, usage and upkeep. Must obtain 40-hour HAZWOPER training within six (6) months of hire date.

Supplemental Information

Driving Requirement:

Must maintain a current, valid United States driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Training and Development: Must obtain Forklift Certification within one (1) year of hire date. Must obtain 40-hour HAZWOPER training within six (6) months of hire date. Must maintain certification(s).

Benefits include Long Term Sick Leave Accrual, Paid Personal Leave, and holiday pay for hours scheduled to work on holidays. Seasonal Employees:
Benefits include Sick Leave accrued at 4.6 hours for every eighty 80 hours in active pay status. Seasonal employees scheduled to work 40 hours during their period of employment will accrue vacation in the same manner as regular full-time employees and can use their vacation after completion of twenty-six (26) bi-weekly pay periods in active pay status. Part-time Seasonal employees (scheduled to work less than 40 hours) do not accrue vacation.

Intermittent and Temporary Employees:
