McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a Lead Plumber to support residential and light commercial projects in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. In this role, you will lead plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance tied to HVAC and related systems, ensuring safe, code-compliant work. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, laying out and installing piping, fixtures, and water heaters, mentoring junior technicians, coordinating with HVAC teams, and providing excellent customer service.
You'll uphold safety standards, maintain accurate documentation, and help improve processes while representing a family-oriented, customer-first company in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, clogs, low pressure, and equipment failures
- Lay out, assemble, and install piping, fixtures, water heaters, and related components
- Ensure all work meets plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians on integrated system installs and service
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers on best practices and safety
- Communicate clearly with customers, explain options, and provide recommendations
- Maintain accurate job records, materials usage, and service documentation
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on plumbing systems
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
