HVAC Install Technician

McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking an HVAC Install Technician to join our family-oriented team. In this role, you'll install residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork. You'll remove old equipment, set new units, run lines and wiring, and ensure safe, code-compliant installations. You'll interact with homeowners, explain system operation, and represent our customer-first values.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems according to specifications and codes
• Remove old equipment and prepare work sites safely and efficiently
• Run refrigerant lines, ductwork, wiring, and condensate drains with high workmanship standards
• Start up, test, and balance new systems; verify proper operation and airflow
• Explain new systems, basic operation, and maintenance to customers on-site
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, vehicles, and tools
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE in homes and job sites
• Document installations, materials used, and any issues for office and service teams
• Collaborate with team members to complete installs on time and to company standards
• Participate in ongoing training to improve technical and customer service skills
