JDI Handyman Services
is looking for a skilled, dependable, and professional
Handyman / Remodeling Technician
to join our growing team.
If you are someone who takes pride in your work, can troubleshoot problems, complete projects correctly, and enjoys doing a variety of residential repair and remodeling work, we want to hear from you!
POSITION DETAILS
- Employment Type:
Full-Time — W-2 or 1099 - Pay:$18–$25 per hour, based on experience
- Weekly pay
- No holding of your first paycheck
- Consistent full-time work available
- Work involves a variety of residential repair, maintenance, installation, and remodeling projects
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
We are looking for someone with a strong, well-rounded handyman skill set. You don't have to be an expert at every trade, but you should be confident performing a variety of common residential repairs and installations.
Skills may include:
- ?? Hanging and installing interior and exterior doors
- ?? Window installation and repairs
- ?? Light electrical work
- ?? Light plumbing and fixture repairs
- ?? Interior and exterior painting
- ?? Drywall installation, repair, and finishing
- Tile installation and repair
- ?? Bathroom remodeling
- General carpentry and home repairs
- Trim, baseboard, and finish work
- General troubleshooting and problem solving
- Job-site cleanup and maintaining a professional work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in residential handyman, remodeling, maintenance, or construction work
- Knowledgeable in multiple areas of home repair and remodeling
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to work independently and complete projects with quality workmanship
- Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and the JDI team
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
- Able to manage time effectively and stay productive throughout the workday
- Willing to learn and take on new types of projects
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- Have a
valid driver's license - Have reliable transportation
- Have practical experience with multiple handyman/remodeling skills
- Be able to pass a
background check - Be able to pass a
drug screening - Be dependable and able to commit to full-time work
- Be able to safely perform physical tasks associated with handyman and remodeling work
