Specializing in top-tier GA aircraft—including modern piston, high-performance turboprop, and light jet platforms—their maintenance teams ensure every aircraft in their care operates to the highest airworthiness and safety standards.

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join their team on a full-time, Monday–Friday Day Shift. • Avionics Inspection & Troubleshooting:
  Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex aircraft avionics, navigation, communication, and electrical systems on general aviation aircraft.

• System Installations & Upgrades:
  Perform avionics suite retrofits, glass-cockpit installations, and component upgrades in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.

• Wiring & Harness Fabrication:
  Fabricate, route, and repair aircraft wiring harnesses utilizing standard AC43.13 aircraft wiring practices, precision crimping, and soldering techniques.

• Certifications & Compliance:
  Assist with bi-annual pitot-static and transponder systems tests and recertifications (Part 91.411 and Part 91.413 standards).

• Technical Documentation:
  Interpret complex technical data including wiring schematics, maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, Service Bulletins (SBs), and Airworthiness Directives (ADs). Complete all required maintenance records accurately.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Avionics
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience performing avionics troubleshooting, wiring, and installations on general aviation piston aircraft.

• Glass Cockpit Familiarity:
  Direct experience working with modern GA integrated avionics platforms (e.g., Garmin G1000/G3000, Avidyne Entegra, or similar glass flight decks).

• Wiring Standards:
  Demonstrated proficiency with AC43.13 aircraft wiring techniques, harness construction, pin-outs, and system integration.

• Commute /

  Ability to commute reliably to the facility in Dayton (commutable distance)

• Tooling:
  Must possess a complete personal basic set of hand tools and specialized avionics tools suitable for aircraft electrical maintenance.

• Physical Capabilities:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined aircraft cabin environments, and perform bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.

• Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.

• Active FCC Commercial Radio Operator License or NCATT AET Certification.

• Prior experience working within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment.
