The Career Navigator is responsible for building relationships with local employers and other community resources to ensure that our clients have access to high-quality employment. In addition, this position will be responsible for delivering an advance employment curriculum to our clients.

This position will service locations in the Cincinnati and Dayton metro areas which will include travel and a non-traditional work schedule. This position will require time to be split between the 2 locations along with the expectation of time spent in the community which will include 50% travel in both areas.

This position is grant funded and contingent upon continuation of external funding. The current grant is guaranteed for three years.

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum requirements are Associate's degree with one (1) year experience in social services, social work, behavioral science or education field. At least one year experience interacting with employers and community members. Education and verifiable work experience with at-risk populations is required (homeless, veterans, behavioral health, drug or alcohol addiction, employment, youth or residential). Must be able to exhibit an ability to engage or intervene with residents experiencing crisis.
