Signal Processing Software Engineer

Overview

RES Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Signal Processing Software Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate should be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. You will be part of a world-class team of engineers, technicians, and professionals who design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.

We are seeking a Signal Processing Software Engineer with experience in Radar and IF Digital systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced RF laboratory designing, developing, and testing custom RF embedded solutions. The selected engineer will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:

• Implement Signal Processing Functions in a variety of languages for deployment to real-time systems:
  Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, C, C++
• Design embedded software layer (primarily
  
  C) between FPGA signal processing and application code
• Collaborate with other engineers to coordinate efforts and meet project deadlines
• Travel to customer sites to provide training and support
• Perform other duties, as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field with at least five years of experience
• Experience or desire to learn RF Signal Processing Algorithms
• Experience or desire to learn a variety of application software languages
• Knowledge of Yocto or Linux driver development
• Knowledge of Xilinx platforms

• U.S. Citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Active clearance is preferred
