Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in developing and modifying the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)
- Proven experience supporting U.S. government or military initiatives
- At least 3 years of experience in agile software development environments
- Strong command of C and Python programming languages
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), and issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
- Capability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance consideration
- Highly Desired:
Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance - Acceptable:
No current clearance but eligible to obtain
- Develop and enhance AFSIM framework capabilities with an organizational perspective
- Design and implement new functionalities for the framework, including plugin development
- Collaborate with government partners, contractors, and the user community both on-site and virtually
- Represent AFSIM to the user community by actively listening and translating validated requirements into technical solutions
- Utilize structured engineering methodologies to assess requirements and deliver reliable capabilities
- Produce clear documentation for both framework developers and end users
