Position Summary

We're seeking a talented Associate Software Engineer who will be responsible for working, as part of a skilled technical team, to write and test software in high level languages, and to develop and test signal processing algorithms from concept to implementation.

- Completed Bachelor's Degree
- Familiarity with modern Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and software compilers such as Netbeans, Visual Studio, Eclipse, or similar
- Successful experience (academic or professional) developing software using C, C++ or Java
- Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen and cannot hold dual citizenship
- Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) programming in algorithm level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python or similar
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) with parallel programming using languages such as OpenCL and/or CUDA
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) developing software to communicate and exchange information (e.g. commands, status, data) with hardware devices, sensors, and/or systems
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) installing, configuring, and working in Windows and Linux environments
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) developing software applications specifically designed for use in multi platform (e.g. Windows and Linux) environments
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) with source code version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or similar
- Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) with software development practices such as Agile, Scrum, or similar
- Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
- Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance
