The Software Development Engineer will contribute to a team responsible for developing high-performance applications that process and visualize large amounts of data. The role involves developing new features and maintaining existing code.

• C++
• 4+ years of experience
• B.S. or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Knowledge and familiarity working in a team development environment, utilizing a common set of tools and development processes
• Ability to analyze and improve the performance of existing algorithms using various methods (refactoring optimization, multi-threading, use of performance analysis tools)
• Comfortable in a Linux development environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience developing applications using the Qt framework
• Knowledge of multi-threaded algorithms in C++ on Linux hosts
• Experience testing code (e.g., Unit Testing)
• Experience developing applications using Open Scene Graph  or osg Earth
• Code Management (e.g., Git)
• Development of systems for the Intelligence and Defense communities
• Security clearance:
  Active TS/SCI w/poly

The salary range is $70,000 to $190,000, with additional factors such as role, responsibilities, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and market data considered. Compensation is not guaranteed and may vary.
