SierTeK Ltd. is seeking an Application Developer to support an opportunity remotely (part-time).Essential Job Functions Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for the CMCS system - DOD, US Air Force and government customers.

Provide production support

Provide system documentation

Provide assistance to less experienced staff.

Business challenges include development of new functionality as well as break-fix analysis and support.

Work independently within a structured development lifecycle.

Understand complex business requirements and interface well with other DOD and government systems.

Position Requirements A strong knowledge of the Z/OS environment including TSO/ISPFKnowledge programming languages in order of importanceFOCUS – This system is written primarily in Mainframe FOCUSJCLREXXCOBOLAssemblerMS Office – including the following:

Outlook Teams Word EXCELPersonal QualificationsA strong customer focus. Applicant should be responsive and efficient when dealing with clients.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work with people across the country in different time zones
